The Silex Vaginal Test Kit works by measuring the pH of vaginal fluid using a colour-changing test strip. A pH higher than the normal range (3.8–4.5) can signal a possible infection. You apply the strip to the vaginal wall as instructed; the colour change is compared to the chart provided to interpret the result.

Active component: pH-sensitive indicator dye. Excipients: Cellulose strip, medical-grade adhesive, plastic applicator, protective foil pouch.

The test is safe and non-invasive when used as directed. Rarely, mild irritation or discomfort may occur. Do not use during menstruation or if you have vaginal bleeding unrelated to your period. This test does not detect yeast infections, STIs, or all possible causes of symptoms. Always follow up with a healthcare professional if you have abnormal results or ongoing symptoms.
