How does it work?

Proctosedyl combines a corticosteroid (hydrocortisone) to reduce inflammation and swelling with a local anaesthetic (cinchocaine) to numb pain and itching. This dual action provides quick symptom relief and aids healing.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Hydrocortisone 5mg, Cinchocaine hydrochloride 5mg. Excipients: Chlorhexidine acetate, lanolin, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, wool alcohols, and purified water.

Side Effects

Side effects can include mild irritation, burning, or allergic reaction at the application site. Prolonged use of corticosteroids may cause skin thinning. Not suitable for children or during pregnancy unless advised by a doctor. Do not use if allergic to any ingredients.
