How does it work?

It contains levonorgestrel, a synthetic hormone that delays ovulation, reducing the chance of an egg being fertilised. Most effective when taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains 1500 micrograms levonorgestrel. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone K30, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.

Side Effects

Side effects can include nausea, tiredness, headache, breast tenderness, and changes to your period. Rarely, allergic skin reactions may occur. Not intended for regular use. Always read the leaflet or ask a pharmacist.
