How does it work?

Estradiol is a form of oestrogen that is absorbed locally in the vaginal tissue. It restores the mucosal lining, increases elasticity, and improves natural lubrication by reversing thinning and dryness caused by reduced hormone levels.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Estradiol. Excipients may include lactose monohydrate, maize starch, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol, and purified water (formulation may vary by brand).

Side Effects

Common side effects include vaginal irritation, itching, discharge, or spotting. Rarely, breast tenderness, headaches, or nausea may occur. Not suitable for those with a history of breast cancer, thromboembolic disorders, or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Always follow medical advice and read the patient information leaflet.
