How does it work?

Each tablet contains bisacodyl, a stimulant laxative that encourages bowel movement by increasing muscle activity in the intestines.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Bisacodyl 5mg. Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, maize starch, sucrose, magnesium stearate, glycerol, talc, acacia, white wax, shellac, carnauba wax, colourants (E104, E110).

Side Effects

Possible side effects: abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, nausea. Not recommended for long-term use. Avoid if you have bowel obstruction or severe dehydration. Speak to a pharmacist before use if pregnant or taking other medicines.
