How does it work?

Contains loperamide hydrochloride, which slows down gut movement and increases water absorption, helping to firm up stools and reduce urgency.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg. Excipients include lactose, maize starch, talc, magnesium stearate, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104).

Side Effects

Possible side effects include headache, nausea, constipation, dizziness. Do not use if you have a fever, blood in your stools, or if under 18 without medical advice. Always read the patient leaflet.
