How does it work?

Wash your hands before and after using Anusol Plus Hc Suppositories.
To use the suppository, first remove it from its packaging.
Avoid handling the suppository too long or it may melt in your hands due to body heat.
Lie on your side with your lower leg straightened out and your upper leg bent forward toward your stomach.
Gently push the suppository (narrow end first) into your rectum with your finger, about 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) in infants and children and 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) in adults.
Stay lying down for a few minutes. The suppository will melt quickly once inserted and you should feel little or no discomfort while holding it in.
Do not use more than prescribed dose of this medicine, and not more than once in 24 hours.
If you resist the urge to empty your bowel after using the suppository, it could start to create urging again.
If you are struggling to use a suppository, speak with your doctor or pharmacist.
Please, do consult your physician before using this medication, especially if it's your first time or you have any health conditions that require special attention. Your physician will likely give you specific instructions based on your personal needs.
